Mystery missile launch leaves experts scratching their heads

In what is being touted as a possible missile launch that has left experts clueless and scratching their heads, there was a luminous cloud trail that was spotted off the Southern California coast this Monday. The “is it a bird? Is it a plane” question is no longer being asked about the grungy brooding all-new Superman, but about the mystery missile launch.

The cloud trail has Pentagon shamefully flummoxed with most experts not even having a vague clue as to what was on. These guys in whose hands national security rests seem stoned out of their minds. This may pose as a major security risk, warned some people.

No explanations were forthcoming from either U.S. Navy or Air Force officials regarding the Southern California mysterious missile launch.

A video grab by CBS affiliate KCBS snapped an object that shot over the sky with a large contrail left behind it. Are security experts pulling the wool over people’s eyes when they say that the object with a big vapour trail, akin to a missile emerging from water, is no threat to national security?

Colonel David Lapan, spokesman for Pentagon said that no defence department was involved in this missile launch, as per indications so far. He said that many notifications and authorisations are needed to launch a missile. So did a stockpile go off on its own? There have many incidents recently of mysterious UFO sightings which immobilized US WMDs and missile arsenals in their vicinity.
