US Air Force Drone Operator Quits: "They Make Me Kill Children" December 17, 2012 - A former U.S. drone operator has opened up about the toll of killing scores of innocent people by pressing a button from a control room in New Mexico. Brandon Bryant, 27, from Missoula, Montana, spent six years in the Air Force operating Predator drones from inside a dark container. But, after following orders to shoot and kill a child in Afghanistan, he knew he couldn't keep doing what he was doing and quit the military. 'I saw men, women and children die during that time,' he told Spiegel Online. 'I never thought I would kill that many people. In fact, I thought I couldn't kill anyone at all.' Bryant joined the military by accident when he accompanied a friend who was enlisting in the army and heard that he could go to university for free if he signed up to the Air Force. It was an incident when a Predator drone was circling above a flat-roofed house made of mud in Afghanistan, more than 6,250 miles away, that really sticks in his mind. The hut had a shed used to hold goats and when he received the order to fire, he pressed a button with his left hand and marked the roof with a laser. The pilot sitting next to him pressed the trigger on a joystick, causing the drone to launch a Hellfire missile. There were 16 seconds left until impact. 'These moments are like in slow motion,' he told the website. As the countdown reached seven seconds, there was no sign of anyone on the ground. Bryant could still have diverted the missile at that point. But when it was down to three seconds, a child suddenly walked around the corner. The next thing he saw was a flash on the screen - the explosion. The building collapsed, and the child disappeared. Bryant had a sick feeling in his stomach, he told the website. 'Did we just kill a kid?' he asked the pilot next to him.

The laughter of George Stephanopoulos and other news personnel in this ABC News video is illustrative of how we as a society have become immune to the raping of people's freedoms. "She did get an apology at least," Stephanopoulos ends, in an idiotic "let's move on mentality" after viewing the terrible situation occurring, with no sign of the tragedy impacting the consciousness of those in the studio. It is not simply about the TSA needing better "guidance" or more training so that the family doesn't have another vacation ruined by screeners. It is that We the People have relinquished our rights, our freedom, our dignity under the notion that we must have security at all cost. Actually, what this shows is CONTROL. Instill FEAR. and those in power have CONTROL. The news media laughing, finding it amusing or cute, are unwitting activists in perpetuating the further demise of We being a FREE People. Our children suffer now and will suffer even more gravely in a dark future, one much nearer than we may want to believe.

Executive Power on Steroids

Obama is employing his executive powers now more than ever before during his presidency.

He has been sidestepping Congress through his “We Can’t Wait” initiative, a series of executive actions that he claims benefit the middle class through infrastructure projects and economic policy changes.

"We can't wait" so ignore all manner of check and balances and just do what you want?

He also skirted Senate approval when he appointed nominees to the National Labor Relations Board and to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The appointments were unprecedented because he made them when the Senate was technically not in recess, prompting legal challenges from conservative groups.

Obama halted deportations of illegal immigrants who entered the United States when they were children and met certain requirements, such as the lack of a criminal record. The change mirrored provisions of the DREAM Act — failed legislation that Obama supported and Senate Republicans blocked in 2010.

Obama changed welfare policy to allow states to modify work requirements if they test new approaches to increasing employment. Obama did not submit the policy change to Congress for review, which the nonpartisan Government Accountability Office concluded he should have done. – Ben Finley of

25 Reasons You CANNOT Vote for Obama

25 Reasons You CANNOT Vote For Obama

1. On December 31, 2011, Obama signed the NDAA, giving him the ability to indefinitely detain any U.S. civilian without charge or trial.
2. Obama supports internet censorship/surveillance. He plans to issue an executive order this year that resembles CISPA if the bill is not passed.
3. Despite his claims, Obama has killed thousands of people, including civilians and children, with drone strikes.
4. The president redefined the word ‘militant’ to mean ‘all military-age males in a strike zone’. This allows him to refer to civilians killed in a drone strike as ‘militants’ to avoid counting civilian deaths.
5. President Barack Obama signed the FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act of 2012 earlier this year allowing 30,000 drones to be used on U.S. soil by law enforcement, government agencies, corporations, etc.
6. Obama granted immunity to all government officials involved in torturing detainees.
7. When a federal judge barred the white house from indefinitely detaining U.S. civilians, the Obama Administration appealed the decision and won the ‘right’ back.
8. The Obama Administration and Lamar Smith (the creator of SOPA) are working together to have FISA passed. FISA (Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act) allows the government to electronically eavesdrop on Americans’ phone calls and e-mails without a probable-cause warrant.
9. When ACLU challenged the constitutionality of FISA, the Obama Administration asked the Supreme Court to dismiss the challenge.
10. Internet censorship has increased under ObamaThe government has seized more than 750 domains in the past two years under a program called “Operation in Our Sites.” (.pdf)
11. William Binney, a former official with the National Security Agency, recently said that domestic surveillance in the U.S. has increased under President Obama, and trillions of phone calls, emails and other messages sent by U.S. citizens have been intercepted by the government.
12. Recently, the Obama Administration told a federal court that civilians have no “reasonable expectation of privacy” in cellphone location data, and hence the authorities may obtain documents detailing a person’s movements from wireless carriers without a probable-cause warrant.
13. The Obama Administration argued in court earlier this year that they can spy on U.S. civilians with impunity.
14. Even while denouncing Syria’s dictator, Obama has been arming Bahrain’s dictatorship with weapons that has killed several pro-democracy protesters.
15. When journalist Abdulelah Haider Shaye reported on a U.S. drone strike that killed 14 women, 21 children and more in Yemen, he was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. After public outcry, Yemen’s president nearly released Shaye until Barack Obama called him on February 2, 2011 to request Shaye remain imprisoned.
16. Drone strikes have dramatically increased under Obama. From 2000-2008, Bush authorized a drone strike in Pakistan every 28 days. During Obama’s administration, he authorized a drone strike in Pakistan every 6 days.
17. The Obama Administration is training and arming 15,000 African troops to fight a proxy war in Somalia, possibly violating an UN Embargo.
18. When a group of lawmakers sought documents that proved the Obama Administration illegally sold guns to Mexican drug cartels, Obama invoked executive privilege for the first time to keep to documents hidden.
19. A few months ago, Obama’s trade documents were leaked. The documents revealed the Obama secretly gave big corporations the right to break domestic laws and violate national sovereignty.
20. In 2009, Obama secretly cut a deal with lobbyist group PhRMA to reassure’ that industry would be protected against policies it disliked in exchange for support of the legislation and acceptance of other policies.
21. President Obama deported undocumented immigrants at a faster rate then any other president in history. He is also close to deporting more undocumented immigrants than Bush did during his 8-year presidency.
22. Obama has been extremely strict when it comes to whistleblowers. In fact, he has indicted more whistleblowers under the Espionage Act than all past administrations combined.
23. Income inequality is worse under Obama than it was under Bush. The 1% received 65% of every dollar created from 2002-2007. The the recovery, 2009-2010, the 1% received 93% of every dollar created.
24. In 2008, Obama promised to increase the federal minimum wage to $9.40/hour. The current minimum wage remains at $7.25.
25. Obama has helped close hundreds of public schools nation-wide and replace them with for-profit charter schools.
Voting third party is not a “wasted” vote, any party that gets 5% of the vote qualifies for $20,000 in public funds for 2016.

Obama Policy -- The "Legality" of Killing with Drones

Since President Obama took office, he has changed the face of how America fights wars abroad. Obama's administration hits targets with unmanned aerial vehicles in countries like Yemen, Pakistan and Afghanistan, killing innocent women and children

Abundant questions arise: Who in mainstream American media is investigating or even reporting or knowledgeable of these actions by the United States Executive Office? How do the checks and balances of Congress factor? While many Americans are astounded as to how the East could hate the U.S., is it no wonder they do when these events are finally uncovered? Is Obama doing this purposely to further destroy the United States? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

19%-21% REAL Unemployment Numbers

Beneath the surface of Friday's jobs report lies the reality of just how disastrous the Obama economy truly is.

Consider the following 11 economic facts:
1.  When you include the underutilized labor figure with the eight million Americans who have lost hope altogether and stopped looking for a job, real unemployment now stands at just under 19 percent.
2.  If the labor force were the same as when President Obama took office in January 2009, the unemployment rate reported on Friday would be 11.2 percent
3.  A record 88,921,000 Americans are no longer in the labor force. To be included in that figure, an individual must be over 16 years of age, a civilian, not in a mental hospital or nursing home, and have stopped hunting for a job for at least four weeks.
4.  The average American lost 40 percent of their wealth from 2007 to 2010.
5.  Every fifth man in America is out of work.
6.  One out of two Americans are now low-income or below the poverty line.
7.  Over the past four years, 400,000 food stamp recipients a month have been added to the welfare dole.
8.  In 2006-2007, 90 percent of college graduates landed jobs. Under Obama, just 56 percent find work after college.
9.  A gallon of gasoline cost $1.84 when Obama entered office. Today, a gallon of gas costs $3.77
10.  Every fourth home mortgage in America is underwater.
11.  Under Obama, healthcare costs have skyrocketed 18.9 percent.
The latest Gallup tracking poll shows Mr. Obama leading Republican challenger Mitt Romney 49 to 45 percent.

The dangers of human stupidity ...

... So far some creative folks have used drones for other delivery services. A place in Philadelphia is using a drone to deliver dry cleaning and the big chain of Domino's Pizza is testing drones to deliver pizza. The beer drop is bound to be one of the top favorite ways to use a drone. Look, up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, no it's a cold beer! ...

Health reform is now causing job turmoil across the country in three key groups that the White House has depended on for support—local government, school workers and unions.

School districts in states like Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Utah, Nebraska, and Indiana are dropping to part-time status school workers such as teacher aides, administrators, secretaries, bus drivers, gym teachers, coaches and cafeteria workers. Cities or counties in states like California, Indiana, Kansas, Texas, Michigan and Iowa are dropping to part-time status government workers such as librarians, secretaries, administrators, parks and recreation officials and public works officials.

This growing trend comes as three major unions have written to Democratic Congressional leaders Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid warning that, because health reform is helping to push the work week to below 30 hours, it will “destroy the foundation of the 40-hour work week that is the backbone of the American middle class.”
